·         First, you must choose This Program Path, and then choose Browse.

·         Choose the program, then click the Next button.

·         Find the path and choose it.

·         Choose the "Next" button.

·         To move forward, choose the Allow the Connection option and then click the Next button.

·         If a pop-up window appears, make sure that every file is checked, and then click the Next button.

·         When you're done with the settings, make the rule and call it "QBExceptionInFirewall.exe."

·         Now that it's done, you don't have to wait to update QuickBooks.
